What is the Beverly Hills Science Fair? It is a celebration of science learning where students develop a scientific question, run experiments to try to answer the question, create a board that summarizes their work, and brag about their scientific awesomeness.
Who can participate in the BH Science Fair? ANY student from the Beverly Hills Unified School District (BHUSD). Students in grades 6-12
from Beverly Hills High School and Beverly Vista Middle School compete in winter 2021. Students in grades K-5
from Horace Mann and Hawthorne Schools compete in the spring. Individual students or teams of up to three students can participate.
Important Dates: - Jan 11
- New deadline to submit project topic HERE - Feb 9, 3pm
- Submit Sci Fair project via Google Slides - Feb 9-10
- Zoom interviews with Sci Fair Judges - Feb 11
- Sci Fair Awards announced - March 15 week: LA County Science Fair
- Spring: K-5 Beverly Hills Science Fair (TBD)
What projects qualify for the BH Science Fair? Any project related to Behavioral Science, Biology,
Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth & Environmental Science, Engineering, Electronics,
Medicine & Health,

What should my BH Science Fair display look like? We will be following the guidelines for the LA County Science Fair for presentation requirements. Historically projects have been displayed on a tri-fold boards, but this year projects will be presented using Google Slides and submitted electronically. Stay tuned for more details.
